Plastering the kitchen with Dad

July 2018 we finally were able to start making the house we’d lived in most of Fletcher’s life a home. Taking on the mammoth job of the kitchen actually effected over half the house… the Kitchen, the Living Room and the Laundry…. to go with the Office (the only indoor space completed thus far in the 5 years 289 Kennedy Rd has been home).

Thanks to the oven giving up the ghost, and thermostats on the hob no longer being able to regulate temperature, this couldn’t have been undertaken at a more required time.

The best and worst thing of a large home project is it effects how the whole household works/exists in the space…I would assume me working from home and us being a home educating family only magnifies this chaos.

The Real joy from this experience is the opportunity for all to chip in.and make our house a home.

Fletcher, loving adult 1:1 engagement (especially with Dad, being practical and wanting to be a part of making our house a home).
